"EYE CARE, DO YOU CARE?"

FVM has always been interested in making sure people have good eyes, with this motto: "Eye care, do you care?"  From 2010, FVM has been facilitating eye care services such as screening, treatment, surgery and the distribution of glasses in collaboration with other health-care partners and the Ministry of Health through the District Health Office. Collaborative meetings take place between stakeholders and FVM to make sure quality services are rendered.

Eye screening clinics take place a couple of times a year and last month 107 people had their eyes screened.  From this, FVM supports and assists individuals through setting up needed cataract surgeries and the distribution of glasses.  This past month, 3 people went through successful eye cataract surgery and 11 people received reading glasses.

HELLO...I AM...

Picture
Chisomo Majiga. I am studying four year Bachelor of Commerce, Banking at University of Malawi, The Polytechnic. I am in first year. I have been receiving educational assistance in form of tuition fees from FVM since 2014 when I was in secondary school. I am so grateful to be accorded this help and I am the only person in my community who has such far with education.
I was born outside wedlock and my mom married my step father. This made it difficult for me to be welcomed in my step father’s home. My biological father never assisted me as his child. My old grand widowed grandmother (mother of my mother) and my uncle are the ones who have been raising me up. If it were not for Future Vision Ministries Canada, I would have dropped out from school long ago. Thank you all for your moral, spiritual and financial support through FVM-C.  When completed, I want to be engaged in contributing to the change of some life of the underprivileged.
                                                    PRAYER POINTS:

-Completion of the two houses for Kazembe and Witness families.

Thank you again for your ongoing interest and support of FVM in Malawi.

In His Service,
Newton Sunday Sindo
