POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
… Well, maybe not in the sense this used to convey back in the ‘60s …
…but electrical power has come to FVM’s Chifundo Nursery School in Nandolo, Malawi.

There has never been electricity in this area before and it fits with our mandate and logo (above) which for 25 years has symbolized light pressing into darkness through God’s power and love.

WHY IS THIS SO LIFE CHANGING?
There are 300 children ages 3 -5 who attend the Chifundo Nursery School daily and this will enable brightly lit classrooms and capability for electronic teaching aids.
Secondary school students already use the facility on weekends to study. Now they can also use it after 6pm when the sun goes down.
Bible Study groups already using the facility may now use it in the evenings as well.
Chifundo School is currently also used as a public health facility providing ante natal services and immunizations. This will potentially expand the scope of services offered.
