“ BUILDING BRIGHTER TOMORROWS” is FVM’s motto … let’s partner together to make this true for the Kazembes along with other families who are faithful volunteers and workers with FVM in Taulo, Malawi.
As a result of the devastating flash floods in Southern Malawi, many homes were either totally destroyed or rendered uninhabitable. You have seen pictures and reports from us in recent months but having visited the area in June we are now reporting first hand.
PLEASE VIEW THE ATTACHED VIDEO CLIP BELOW!! (It’s only 2 ½ minutes). The Kazembes are a family whom we have known and loved for 10 years, now reduced to virtually nothing.
FVM has undertaken to build them a new home as well as build or restore 9 others.
THE TOTAL COST OF ALL CONSTRUCTION is $ 8,600 U.S.
( $11,300 Cad).
THAT’S FOR 10 HOMES. TAKE A MOMENT AND THINK OF WHAT WE ALL SPEND TO MAINTAIN AND RENOVATE OUR OWN HOMES HERE.
