THANK YOU ... AND BEST WISHES FOR 2019
Through your generosity we met and exceeded that goal ! As we say in Malawi,
Zikomo Kwambiri !
May God continue to bring blessing in 2019 as we partner with you to walk alongside our "Malawian family".
Following is a report showing one facet of the breadth of our commitment to " minister to the needs of the whole person - spirit, soul and body".
Thank you again for your ongoing interest. You can check out more detailed reports on our website www.fvm.on.ca
In 2011, FVM provided two boreholes (wells) to Taulo Community that are serving about 1,500 people. Village Headman (community leader) Bulayimu and his subjects have been using the water from their borehole for tree-seedling development and reforestation of their barren community. One hundred percent of all the bricks baked for strong and permanent structures use huge amount of trees apart from the calamity of charcoal burning in a country that has only 12 hours of electricity per day and even that for only 30% of the population. But everything begins with the “beginning”.
